I own a small plumbing co. in Ma and I have two General contractors that owed me a consideable amount of money. I tried sueing G.C. and in both cases they filed for bankrupcy and was awarded. I was advised to sue homeowners dierctly but what is the statue of limitations on such a case? One was about 1 1/2 years old and other about 2 1/2 years ago. been trying to collect ,to no avail, since money hes been owed. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

If the General contractors owe you money, how can you sue the homeowners for the debt? This is because the homeowners are not responsible to you for the money the contractors owe.
