this people are nuts, they call me 4 times today the firs time saying they were bank of america...then they call and hang up...they are blocking my emails...has anyone ever got any good response from these people???

they still want $500 on a $200 loan that i paid $1770.00 yeah right!!! :x

Very unfair business!! Using wrong names to reach people is just sick.

I am assuming that you have already stopped them from doing any debits.

$1770.00 for a $200 is too much! And still they want more. They are getting greedier. Report them to your attorney general. If you have already done this in the past, file a new complaint again. They have to look into these issues more seriously and take actions against Route 66 Funding.

I call the bank and told them so they will investigate, i told them i would not pay one more cent...they me they were calling the cops, my credit will be ruin so i said call the FBI,CIA, the president and tell him the point is i told you guys not to contact me via phone and you keep doing it.

i filed a complaint with the bbb, ftc and the Ag's office so i told them to kindly answer to them and stop calling me.

they call my job twice today knowing i'm on medical leave, they wanted to talk to my supervisor and of course the receptionist is already aware of what i'm going thru so she told them is agaisnt the law to call me at work after i requested them not to.

then later this afternoon someonelse called me so i told him what happen and he was very apologetic of course i kept talking about how their company was violating my rights and the law and he could not get a word out, except for we see here you are great customer but of course i'm they renew me 28 times how can i not be!!!

he eventually got tired of me talking and hung up!
but the guy that said he aws from the bank of he was a little jerk, he was threating me and being sarcastic i wanted go over the phone line and slap him. (i'm seven months pregnant and very irritated by this people they are bringing out the fury in me)

Please take care of your health and your baby. Don't take so much stress. They are not worth your time. And this is not good for you and your baby. You have done everything that was necessary with your bank, your job, etc. I will advise not to take their calls anymore until delivery. Stay calm. Its important for you.

drowing - do you have caller ID on your home phone? I do, and every day, I receive at least 3 or 4 "unknown name, unknown number" calls - which I ignore and let the answering machine pick up. Surprise, surprise - they hang up as soon as the answering machine picks up. :-)

The phone company charges extra to block numbers that have their number/name blocked from your caller ID, but I'm considering doing it just for the peace of mind of not having to screen the calls.

Sweetie - take care of your health first, and the baby's. I've been there - my third pregnancy was a nightmare, and I spent the last 4 months on the couch on bedrest. I also couldn't work for almost a year after the birth, due to other complications that occurred. But once you get to the delivery, you will be fine, and it will all work out just fine! Don't let these jerks get you down, and have a great Thanksgiving!

drowing - hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Well, I just got another e-mail from Rt. 66 Funding - here's the info:

Quote:

URGENT MESSAGE FROM ROUTE 66 FUNDING ???????? INVESTIGATION TEAM
We refer to our many previous communications with you concerning your loan dated 07/31/2006.

In the absence of a response to our previous email, I have now instructed my Team to investigate whether your original application was made with accurate information. Work has been scheduled to commence in 2 days time .

If you do not want us to make enquiries through third parties please contact us within 2 days to arrange a payment on:
1-877-646-9615

Yours faithfully

Sam Johnson
Investigator
Route 66 Funding
Direct Line: 1-877-646-9615

So...I guess I'll e-mail them yet again, making a settlement offer of $23, which is the balance on the principal of my loan from them. And I will inform them that they are currently under investigation by my state AG, and that I have reported my loan to the state AG to be included in that investigation. And, once again, I will reiterate that they are operating illegally in my state, they are not licensed, thus my loan is illegal and I am not bound to pay anything more than the principal back. I will also remind them that their "contract", because it is verbal and not written and contains no signature, is not legal.

I do not dispute the fact that I owe the principal of the loan, but I will not continue paying fees to a company that is basically nothing but a loan shark when they are not operating legally in my state.
