my boyfriend had his mom cosign for him for a vehicle years ago then when he went to the air force the vehicle was repoed , it is on both of their credit reports and now his mom is being garnished from paychecks. Once its paid off does it show paid on both of thier credit reports?

It should show paid on any credit report that it is reported to. All reports MUST be accurate per FCRA

Okay, the truth is that his mother's credit has been tarnished because he didn't pay the loan on time. But anyway, yeah, when the debt would be paid, it may show up as 'paid' in both the reports.
