In the last 7 months my wife and I have been foreclosed on and have over $82,000 left on our old home equity line and we have over $65,000 in credit card debt. We have consulted two attorneys who have told us that we can't qualify for chapter 7 because of our income. We have trimmed all of our debts as far as we can without selling our cars and walking to work, and we can't seem to make any headway...any advise for this dire situation?

Hi Derrelld

Do not worry. You will surely find a way out to get out of this mess. In my opinion debt settlement is the best option for you. A debt settlement company can help you setting up a reasonable payment plan. They negotiate with your creditors on your behalf and come up with a plan that is tailored to fit your needs.
