Has anyone settled with Wells Fargo VISA card? I am wondering how they are to work with, and also if this will affect any of my other accounts with them (I have a checking account, a business account, and a line of credit all with this institution)

Settled just after charge off @30% of around $60k in 3 payments. You would be well-advised to move your asset-based accounts, as they may have the right to offset what you owe them by emptying out your $$$ in the other accounts. This occurs frequently and you cannot act soon enough. Good Luck.

DAN how long was it from your first missed payment till you re

DAN how long was it from your first missed payment till you reached a 30% settlement of the 60K??

What would you advise me to do as far a moving my checking account...should I cancel my checking account, change banks

All other accounts I am closing out..like a savings act that I put all my kids money in .

I'm dreading dealing with Wells Fargo....I will not be paying the bill for February

I already stoped paying US BANK this month.
