Anyone have any suggestions?

No, I owe him legally 161.00.. he is asking for 570.00. if I send him 400.00 by the 16th of feb, he will waive the rest...

according to my state law ( IN) I only owe back 161.00 on a 300.00 loan. I have paid the 90.00 finance charge at least 2 times.

This guy is pissing me off.....it's funny that I just keep making those complaints.....:)

As per my previous correspondence with you, the legal amount I owe for my account is $161.00. The loan was for $300.00 and 2 finance charges of $ 90.00 have been paid on the account to date.

I have been aware that your company is not licensed in the state I reside in, and the rate/interest charge for the loan was above the maximum allowable rate for the state of Indiana as well. Therefore, I am only obligated to repay the principal amount of the loan.

The remaining balance of 161.00 will be made in payments of 50.00 with the first payment to be sent via money order by 2/12/06. No payments will be wired or made by debit/credit card

I have filed complaints with the Nevada Better Business Bureau and the Indiana Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission so they can follow up on this matter. I will expect my account to be marked ???????paid in full??????? and written confirmation to be sent to indicate that this has been done. Any negative information to teletrack or related bureaus will be viewed as defaming and if not removed in their entirety, further action will be taken.

All contact to me is to be sent via email or United State Postal Mail, as calls to my place of employment are being monitored and personal calls to employees during business hours are discouraged.

I just emailed him that. He will email me a nasty one back I'm sure....Now what?

Well, it will be interesting to see what he says back. My experience says he will probably do one of several things. He might not want to fool around with this anymore and mark your account PIF or if he is a real "weenie" he might not care and keep it up (I find that kind of doubtful). Usually the part about complaints to the BBB will cause them to think a bit, especially if no one has called them on their illegal tactics. Please keep us posted. Good Luck!

Tweety, don't be intimidated. Just keep responding as you are. They will threaten all kinds of stuff and keep maintaining that you are in default, guilty of internet fraud, bouncing checks across state lines, you name it. At the end of the day, they won't play hard ball, because no court is going to rule in their favor because they are conducting illegal lending....

I just got off the phone with this company and they told me I have to wire it to them or they will keep trying to take it out of my account. They also told me they do not accept Money Orders as "We sent it to your bank when you wanted it" and if you send us a Money Order we will send it back to you. I hate that company and they claim that they are the company that gave me the money.

Newmarathons- I kept getting nasty emails from Ryan as well. I ended up filing complaints and I got a response and a phone call from a Rachel Kimball...she was very nice to me and told me that all they wanted was the principal amount. I paid the $ 161.00 with a MONEY ORDER and it was done. I know you can send in money orders to them. What company would not except any form of payment.......they would be stupid to return it back. Any judge would say look they are attempting to pay this back. Send MO's only......

I just contacted Consumer protection and my AG and they just told me that these are the following states that this company are not supposed to give ONLINE payday loans to. Here they are: CA, WI, IN, MI, NM & FL. The AG and Consumer Protection told me not to pay them and that they are going to contact them and close them down because they are doing illegal activity and they have got proof.
