i have seen this forum "sol" so many times. Whats sol? can someone explain it to me?
i bet some regulation, etc.

I think you explained it pretty well. Of course my dad always says I am SOL about things, but it doesn't mean Statue of Limitations....he means I am S*** out of Luck! LOL

Sorry people. Not feeling well today and been taking some cold medicine that makes me feel a little loopy!

Just because it is out of the SOL doesn't mean you don't still owe it , or that they won't still try and collect on it , only that legally they cannot do anything-- I had a hospital bill that I paid off, and about 10 years later someone tried to collect on it- I had no proof by then I had paid it. Luckily, I finally got them to leave me alone, but they can still try to collect, because it is still a valid debt..KAren
