Unfortunately it is not the judges job to set up a payment plan.
Unfortunately it is not the judges job to set up a payment plan...he might encourage it but the court does not get involved with this. Your payment plan has to be set up with the plaintiff. All the judge does it enter a verdict if the debt has been paid or not. If you have not resolved it, they will get their judgment. Best you can go for is to set up a payment plan prior to going to court and get a contingency judgement. With this type of judgment, the creditor agrees not to take further action as long as you are making your payments. Miss a payment and the agreement is gone.
You might be better off looking at bankrutpcy and getting a fresh start. A judgment is going to be just about as bad on your credit as a bankrutpcy, especially if you have the potential for multiple judgments.
