Zwicker

Most of these posts are pretty old so I wanted to post a comment. I have been working with Zwicker for several months now to pay off a bad debt. They were not very nice at first but I have been working with a woman named Heather. She has been very understanding and helpful and does not talk down to me or issue idle threats. Each month, I get a reminder that my payment is due and then I get a statement telling me that they intend to withdrawal as previously agreed. They have only taken the authorized payments. In those statements, my previous payment is reflected in the balance. As long as you make a payment each month, before the end of the month, they are very easy to work with. They are very aggressive but that is their job. It's easy to rile them up into a tizzy and have them begin to cop an attitude but if you owe the debt, you own the debt and they are just trying to do what they have been hired to do. I don't like debt collectors anymore than the next person. I think that most of them are scum but if you sit down to think about it, these are just people that have kids and families. They need to work just like the rest of us and chances are, regardless of what they do for a living, they have probably been in our position.

Anyway, if you make an arangement and you keep it, the harassing phone calls stop and the debt gets paid in full and not in settlement. This will reflect on your credit report more favorably than a settlement or a charged off account. I only get one phone call a month from them and it is to remind me to make my payment. I set the payment up through them over the phone and have had no issues with additional funds or information being stolen. Good luck to you all!
