Zwicker has called looking for a friend of mine and left messages that violate his privacy, (i.e., "we are looking for___ if you are not him, then do not listen to this message as we are trying to collect on a debt"). We did not call them back, yet they called our house again yesterday. They should be calling his family, not his friends. It seems very unethical. Should I report them to the FTC or AG for the State of MA?

Hi!
Welcome to the forums!

Actually, the collection agencies can call the friends, family, relatives of the debtor when they are unable to contact him/her. Maybe Zwicker is not able to locate your friend for some reason. This is why they called you. But if they continue to call you regarding the debt of your friend everyday, then you cam report the issue to FTC. Another thing, inform your friend about this issue. Then your friend can contact Zwicker and solve the matter themselves.
