Hi All,

It feels great to inform you that our Community has come up with a new section called “Social Answers”. This section has been created and designed in questions & answers format. Anyone can ask finance related questions and share answers here. Good answers will get up-votes where as the unsatisfactory answers will get negative votes. No comments, fights, abuses, or useless discussions. Just questions and answers! :)

The main goal of Social Answers will be to provide quality answers to the questions asked in this section and we are working hard to achieve it. We are eagerly waiting for your valuable feedback on this section to reach our goal.

Read more about Social Answers.

The section looks good. However, I feel that if the users are given some sort of acknowledgment or ranks based on their contributions, then it will be great.

I didn't know where to post this...
The image verification process is soooo hard! I typically have to type in strings 4-6 times before I get one right. Is it really necessary to be so tough? I'm not visually impaired, so I can't imagine how exclusionary this process is for people with disabilities. Something to consider?

I just keep refreshing the image until I get one that is clear.

Thanks for your feedback.

We have installed captcha (Image verification process) feature so that we can keep spams from coming in our forums. yogagirl it will help if you can send us some of the snapshots of the image which you're finding difficult to understand. We can then coordinate with our tech team and see if we can come out with a solution.

what yogagirl is referring to is the string used for posting.sometimes it is hard to determine the string due to the background at times.like soaplady i just refersh until one appears that is clear.example:the pale pink is easy to see the string.however there is a blue backdrop that makes the string very hard to see.that is what yogagirl was hinting at.

Paul, I was just explaining to yogagirl the reason why we took the tough decision of installing the captcha feature :) Since you all are finding it difficult to read the verification images we have removed the captcha feature as of now. However if spams get out of control we will think about it again.

Keep posting..

now hold on there.while some images are not easy to read you did have the refresh image underneath that helped.i have noticed more nonsense since you disabled the string.please reconsider as while i was explaining the newbies position.it in no way was me stating my problem with it as i had no problem with it.

Paul is correct- it is a matter of the readability of the images. Often the letters are very close to the background color or there are two letters sort of on top of one another. The reason I wrote the message is because I use the refresh until I find one I think is readable, but then I still get it wrong.

Some sites have an audio version where it plays a snippet of sound. The process makes sense and is probably necessary, but perhaps the particular software is excessively difficult. If you reactivate it, I'll do a screen shot when I have a problem.

We will wait for one or two days to check the spam status. If it's manageable we might do away with the captcha feature else we will have to bring that feature again.

We look forward to receiving your feedback on the spam numbers.
