Hey Absolutely fantastic....wtg....congratulations. And, only 18 mos. away from your master's that's even more incredible. Wow what a great day for you!!!!

I came home, I cried and then I slept from yesterday afternoon until THIS MORNING WITHOUT WAKING UP ONE TIME! I have been exhausted between working full time, my kids, the house, and giving up all of my weekends for school, including some evenings during the weekday when I was required to be in class. There were obstacles along the way which could've stopped me in my tracks (each kid needing surgery, medical crisis with my kids), but I kept pushing. And 18 months to get my masters in nursing really isn't that long. I just can't believe it happened. I am estatic! :D

Congrats Steelers. You didn't let your personal life affect your professional life. You have really worked hard for all this to happen. :)

Congradulations! Nursing school is no easy task, I have a couple of friends who are nurses.

Congratulations Steelers! When I was going to school for my EMT license, the classes were easy, but when it came to the clinicals, I thought I was going to go crazy. 12 hour shifts in the emergency room to get my clinical hours was stressful.

Classes and clinicals took up all of my free time. I haven't had a day off in MONTHS and MONTHS. It isn't easy, but it can be done. You have to SACRIFICE alot to get it done. I was able to run with a squad as part of my courses and I loved it. Very interesting and no time to take a break. Always doing runs.

I agree with you 100% about it taking up all the free time. It seemed on the shift I was on which was 3rd of course, all the calls were the gory ones. To me, it was such an adrenalene rush.

Also, I hated the paperwork after each run. I hated writing out everything from when we arrived at the scene til we got to the ER.

From the bottom of our hearts, CONGRATS!!! All the hard work will payoff, and we are proud of you for it.

I like gory, (call me weird, that's ok). I had an adreneline rush when I was with the squad. I really liked it. They didn't seem to thrilled by all the paperwork they had to complete for each run either. LOL
