Is it legal for a consolidation company to use your social security # as a digital signature and in turn sell your loan to a bank even tho no real paper's were signed ,dated and sent back to them? plus i have no papers of the so called contract. If it is illegal what can i do because i am unemployed and CFS suntech are expecting payment and there no great help either they told me it was all perfectly legal which i dont belive that social security numbers can be used like that.
Anyway id like some or anyone's input on this becaus eim about to go crazy.

Tallman, this is definitely illegal. Besides, in most states, the TILA requires the contract to be put in writing before the services begin. You must report this matter to the State AG office and the Dept of Finance for investigating on this company.
I don't think any state allows using SSN# as digital signature. This is perhaps fake business means. I will definitely report this action of the company in front of the state law enforcement agencies.
