I want to pay off my student loans

I went to college and got my bachelor's degree. I started to obtain my master's degree but decided that it wouId not be correct path to take in the city where I resided. I couldn't find a job in my field so I decided to got to truck driving school. My new job is about to begin; however, I am concerned that the amount I make may or may not be sufficient enough to pay off my loan if my company does not offer an appropriate amount of tuition reimburstment. So I am really considering debt consolidation.

Talk to a debt counselor because he can only tell you if student loan consolidation can be done by them. I remember one company that does such consolidations. I will have to search and give you the name. Hang in there!
Have you asked for forbearance from your lender? This way, the payments on your student loans will be postponed. Do the current payments as usual and pay the past payments in one lump sum at a later stage.
