Starting new business

Hi Everyone: Not sure if I should ask this question here, but everyone has so much knowledge. My husband and I are starting a small clean up business here in Maryland. Our credit is not very good and we have very little start up funds. Does anyone know if we could apply or would qualify for a government grant?. Our business is cleaning up foreclosed properties and hauling away trash/junk for individuals and businesses.
