Hello and thanks for helping me.

Today my wifes work received a phone call from a debtor i had from 2004-2005(student loans). I have paid off all my loans from the department of education, just not the school. My wife just got this job last year so there is no way this # they called is listed anywhere on the application or loan documents. Is that legal? they called someone knowing i didnt work there.

I do have other questions to.

One is, i never attended 2 quarters but was charged for both quarters fully. I thought i read somewhere that there is something i can fill out that would make them drop that portion of the debt.

the 2nd question is that i was diagnosed with a fatal disease last year. They gave me 10-15 years. I cannot repay this to being disabled. My wife and i have a budget and after all bills and food, we only have $300 extra a month. This $300 is used for clothing and b-day/events/trying to save. Is there anything i can do? This debt is a student loan, but i know the school has another $3000 i owe them directly from my student account(in all almost $10000).

I always try to pay my debts but with everything that has happened in the past few years i am behind. If i could pay i would. Im about to start a $200 a month payment plan with another debtor to stop garnishment(this comes out of the $300 extra we have a month).

I am sorry for rambiling but i am lost as of what to do. Thanks for looking.

You are the debtor....they are the creditor.

Did you properly withdraw when you stopped attending? There is nothing you can fill out now that will make them drop that portion of the debt.

We all have a fatal disease...it is called life and getting old. Most do not know when they are going to pass on.
