Just 2 quick questions:
How do student loans affect my credit? I have been working on paying off my cr. card debt, but my st. loans are significant. Will this hurt my credit in the same way as credit card debt? All of my loan payments have been on time. Thanks!

My student loans where being billed every 3 months. Once when I was late in paying one by about3 days, it showed up on my credit report at being late 93 days. For me it had the same effect as credit cards, however when I was making a major purchase and credit report was pulled, all student loan related items where ignored. I am not sure if this helps you at all.
If student loans are federal loans, please call them and get an extension on repayment. Many student loans offer a similar deal. Good luck!
