Is there any way to consolidate federal student loan debt? I know that I can't consolidate them though a consolidation program.

You can consolidate your federal student loans the Department of Education. You can combine multiple federal student loans into one federal one. It won't help to lower your interest rate. But it would help to lower your monthly payments by extending the loan term. You have to pay only one monthly bill every month. Visit studentloans.gov and go to “Complete Consolidation Loan Application and Promissory Note.” It will take around 30 minutes to fill it out. Gather all the required documents and choose the type of federal student loan you wish to consolidate.
