Renter promise ss back pay as means to pay

member profile picture

I sued my now evicted renter . Back then she promised back pay for child support(childrenareadults), back pay SS if approved or her car. One judge was awaiting the ss results, the next vacated this judgement since neither ss, nor child support nor a car of low worth $4000 could be taken. Which judge was right?

Which judge was right?

This is a very very very bad question. A judge is never wrong or right because he is not allowed to do so. A judge just has opinions.

Both judges will reach the same conclusion with subtle differences but would take different paths to do so. Stands true in your case as well.

PS: A lot would have depended on what grounds you were suing your ex-renter.

Judges just dont give opinions, they give rulings so the above poster does not know what the hell he is talking about.

Child support and SS income is non garnishable. The car would not be worth attaching. So yes, the judge IS correct in his actions.
