I have student loans from the year of 1999. Shouldn't those already be removed since its past 7-10 year period and there has NOT been ANY actions concerning them. Also, now they are garnishing my taxes for repayment. Help???

You borrowed them in 1999? When did you default??

Not necessarily. When did you default? Who was your original lender?
If your loan started off as a FFELP loan it is possible the loan could have been subrogated by the USDOE which would start the reporting clock again.

What help do you want? Have you tried to get back into repayment? There is no SOL for student loans and they are capable of garnishing your wages without a court order.
