Hello to everyone,

First of all thank you in advance for your answers and advice. I currently have 30K Plus Federal loans in default. I currently have no Wage garnishments (yet). I contacted the collections agency which now owns the loans (EAS) and has set up a payment rehab plan of 9 months for 361.00 a month if i don't they will seek wage garnishment. Im a father of 2 girls (6 months and 3 year old) currently employed at 15 hourly full time. I have asked them to lower my payments at 250.00 and they have said NO to me multiple times. My expenses including rent, utilities, food average even with what i make monthly. I asked them if i can submit paper work to provide them with proof of my expenses and they responded that they will seek wage garnishment if I dont commit to my monthly payments withing the next couple of days. Now, my question is that if the mother of my children decides that im not providing her with enough income monthly for my kids, she will seek child support and deduct this from my paycheck monthly which i believe will be around 30% of my disposable income. Is it possible for them to take and additional 10% of my income and withhold my taxes yearly like they have done for the last 2 years?

Thank you
