Wage garnishment student loan

I have a student loan with Wells Fargo, I have tried to work out a payment plan with Wells Fargo to pay off the student loan my payment of $24.00 every payday was turned down. At this Wells Fargo will be sending my employer a wage garnishment form to start the process. I live in Dallas, Texas, I am 64 years of age. I am a receptionist and bring home is about $734.00 twice a month. Ed Fund is handling the collection of this debt. What can I do to stop this I am already staying in my house with no utilities where do I go from here besides killing myself.

FYI..if this was a federal loan, Wells in no longer in the picture. ...they would have filed a default claim with your guarantor EdFund/CSAC.
How much do you owe? Did you receive the 30 day garnishment notice? Did you respond to it?
