Cosigned Sallie Mae Student Loan Does not Show on My Credit Report

I cosigned a large Sallie Mae GradPlus student loan for someone back in August, 2009. But as of February, 2011, this loan does not show up on my credit report (I've checked both Experian and Equifax). The loan is currently in deferment and does not go into repayment until June, 2011. Sallie Mae has the loan set up as two separate accounts, one in the primary borrower's name, with the full balance, and one in my name, with a zero balance. Can someone explain why the loan does not show up on my credit report even though I cosigned? Will it ever show up? Is there some possibility that Sallie Mae ultimately approved/processed the loan without using me as a cosigner? And why does Sallie Mae set up separate accounts for the primary borrower and the cosigner?
