Finally after much persistence .. Bank of America has started returning the PDL's and waiving the overdraft fees. My closed account now sits at $0.00 balance. Day before yesterday I received a text from that bank account that said insufficient funds.. but then today it was back to $0.00. I have been watching for a week and all of the NSF post cards they send have all said "fee waived" So maybe all the hard work has paid off! BOA is hard to work with but you just have to stay on them and get it done.

It kind of stinks having to pick up paper checks at work until my direct deposit starts going into my Netspend account but it's worth it to have my whole paycheck again. I've been paying $700 every two weeks out of my paychecks for so long that I didn't know what it felt like to have money anymore!! So getting my FULL paycheck was great. I was able to catch up on alot of bills that I've been behind on. Now I'm in the middle of making payment arrangements with my last three legal PDL companies.. and then I have 6 illegal ones to deal with.. but one of them is Ameriloan and they actually owe me money.. the other 5 I only owe a small amount but they aren't getting anything until they agree to the terms I've given them. I want to thank everyone who helped me here!! Just two weeks ago I was drowning and now I can breathe again thanks to this site!

Wow, that's GREAT news! Thanks for the update! $1400 a month is quite high, my goodness.

The bad thing about these customer service people is their lack of training and their attitude. So persistence DOES pay, as soon as you are lucky to talk with someone with some actual intelligence and patience you can get a lot accomplished. Most of them seem to not want to be bothered.
