OMG! I'm sooo excited! I was wondering why Eastside Lenders contacted me after so long. And now I know why. I received a letter in the mail today from National Opportunities. It was a response to the complaint they received from my state AG! Now, the National Opportunities issue I had gotten resolved through the BBB. However, this just shows my AG is hitting these pdl's! I'm absolutely POSITIVE that's why Eastside contacted me. I sent everything in around the same time and got my response letters from the AG around the same time. Now Eastside is trying to contact me and National Opportunities sent me their response to the state AG complaint! I'm loving this! I've actually got goose bumps! I know all these pdl's are getting their complaint letters from my AG! YES! :D So, please hang in there and PLEASE file those complaints! It takes time (like 2 months!) but I'll be darned if they're not taking some sort of action! Oh happy day, happy day! Just knowing they are being contacted by my state is awesome enough for me! YES! :D

Okay. I'm so excited, I can't type! It's saying that they are writing on behalf of NOU (National Opportunities Unlimited) regarding my complaint to the Kentucky AG dated June 19th. They stated their goal is to provide customers with the best possible experience, blah, blah. It says they researched the matter and after reviewing the totalilty of the circumstances surrounding my particular transaction (you like that?),that they made a determination to refund the amount of $45.45 and that the refund had already been made, blah, blah. Then it goes on to say that NOU is pleased to be able to assist in this matter (you like that, too?) and then went on to say that they are under no legal obligation to do so, blah, blah. Says they don't solicit customers in Kentucky (okay). The usual sentence all the pdl's spout out like they're not wrong, but gee, we'll refund the money.... They sent it to the Office of Kentucky Attorney General. How about that? :D

Thank you, mperez! I'm just excited about the fact that these pdl morons are getting complaints from my state AG! I mean, my letters probably meant NOTHING to them, but a letter from the state AG? Hello! I'm loving it! And, ladybug, I had actually already received my refund from National Opportunities. Once I filed my complaint with the BBB and they contacted them, BAM, I had a refund. It was awesome! But I'm still getting a thrill off the fact that they got a letter from the state AG even though it was already resolved. At least they know people are filing complaints against them! Yes, yes, yes!

Thanks, ipdl! Actually National Opportunities was easy. I actually got it resolved just through the BBB complaint! But, hell, I filed with everyone under the sun! Once I sent in my complaint to the BBB, they contacted National Opportunities, National Opportunities then "corrected" the situation (LOL!) and sent me a refund. Now the state AG contacted them (which gives me the biggest thrill!) and National Opportunities informed them they "corrected" the situation. So, if you haven't filed with the BBB, my advice would be to do that. Hell, they refunded me without my knowledge! I just got a refund! I was like "Huh?" Then the BBB responded to me regarding it. Oh, okay! But I love that the state AG got on them also! Loving it! So, try the BBB. See if it works.

Hello Cannr,

We have spoke since the last, getting my teenager ready for school.

That is good news about National Oppt. I do have a loan with them and now they reported to me to NPA
and they are calling my job 5 times a day. I told them I have contact my AG and BBB too, but they dont care they want their money. They said if I dont pay it would ruin my credit for 7 years, cannot write a check and as you say blah, blah, blah. Oh and they are going to begin collection proceeding with this Creditor if I dont pay. la la la la la la la

So what do you say about that? By they way I got the PM thanks much!

Hey, queen! Did I give you the contact information for National Opportunities? If you need it, let me know. Might help. Never know. And you can keep on "la la la'ing" regarding them. LOL! I love it! But I do have contact info on them. They tried to be dirty with me, but then stopped once the BBB hit them. And now the AG has hit them. So, maybe they'll "make nice" with you! :D

queen, my state does not allow rollover/extensions either. I stated to them I borrowed xxx dollars and paid xxx dollars. This money they have debited from you should go towards the principle of the amount borrowed. She did NOT give me any hard way to go. I didn't speak to anyone in the collections department. Once they got my email/fax/mail letter of complaint, they started emailing me & somehow I got the manager. She's a manager. She can pull it from collections, you would think. But, I can't be positive about that. I say try to contact HER and see what she says. I really think they know what they're doing is wrong. Otherwise I'd probably still be fighting with them! queen, they refunded me my overpayment. They know they're wrong. If you overpaid, you've really got one over on them. If you haven't paid the principle amount in full yet, tell her you will pay the principle amount only.

queen, what exactly did you pay on the first loan? Did you pay over $300 total??? And this second one, you've paid $305 on it already? Don't go by their "fees". Just what they deposited. If you got $300 on the first loan, how much did you pay them back total? On the second one, you got $300 and what have you paid them back so far?

queen, your first loan - $300 with 3 rollovers/paid off. Are you saying you basically paid $300 PLUS the 3 rollovers? If that's the case, you overpaid. If you're saying you paid a total of $300 including the rollovers, your paid off on that one. The second one - $300, you've paid $305. You're done. They're paid. Tell them to BITE YOU.
And, anthony, I am soooo getting a "charge" out of my AG contacting these pdl's! I don't think I've gotten such a thrill in..... how long..... oh, sad......LOL!
