I love in CA and After ALOT of ready on this website and alot of people helping out I wanted to tell all of you that in a matter of 5 days, I have been able to come to some sort of resolution with my PDL's:

Cash Central (legal)- extended my due date and canceled my ACH.

Payday One (legal)- extened my due date and canceled my ACH.

Zip19 (illegal)- spoke to Cheryl Barkley 888-740-2274 after I had sent them numerous emails and faxes regarding revoking ACH, revoking wage assignments and stating loan was illegal. I borrowed $400 they wanted $480. CA law says if they are illegal you are only responsible for principal amount. She verified receipt of my letters, canceled ACH and they are accepting the principal amount of $400 via money gram (which is good, that is a reciept for me as proof of payment)

PaydayMax(illegal)- got in contact with Credit protection depot 866-645-1661. They also after recieving my letters via fax and email canceled ach and will settle my account for $40. (i borrowed $530 and as of today have already paid $490) Got that in writing!

National Payday Advance LLC (illegal)- only able to contact via email but I borrowed $400 and already paid $581.25. They won't reimburse me overpayment but have agreed to consider the account closed and will no attempt to collect any further. I got that in writing!!

EZ Payday( illegal)- borrowed $400 and paid to date $290. after reviewing mt letters and faxes they agreed to the last $110 to consider account paid in full. Got that in writing!

Integrity Advance (illegal)- still working with them regarding overpayment. I borrowed $400 and have paid $700. They haven't gotten back to me on this issue but I got in writing via email that they have canceled the ACH and will no longer collect. Doubt I will ever see the overpayment, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

My point here- do your research, know your state laws, call them, email them, fax them, be persistant, keep copies of everything and document who you talk to! Most importantly, I stayed calm, and did not raise my voice once or yell on any calls. No mater what they said. Stay strong and don't back down. It worked for me.

The good thing too- by getting this in writing if the EVER attempt to collect or debit my accounts I have something in writing to turn into the CA Department of Corporations (which I was happy to remind them of!)

Thanks again for all your help and advice! I still have to pay back $600 in legal loans and $ 550 to the illegals (doing the RIGHT thing and paying principal balance owed) BUT its better than paying $4000 (which is what all these loans would have costed me if i continued down the path I was going!).

Stay away from those illegals! I learned my lesson the hard way. Also- the two legals ones, were great and very cooperative to work with !

I have a zip19 loan and have paid well in excess of the $500 dollar loan. Do I send a letter in the mail or can I email them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I first emailed zip19, then faxed them, then emailed again. But bottom line- they never responded. I had to actually call them, but by doing everything via fax and email, they already had my info and knew exactly what I was calling about

Jessie... That's great news.

Could you share the email address that you used to contact Credit Protection Depot? I've used a couple of different ones posted on this site but they are all returned undeliverable. I have faxed them but wanted to email them as well.

Thank you!

Great news!! You should rightly be very proud of yourself for all your hard work. Now will you do me a favor and call the Dept of Corporations tomorrow and tell them that you know for a fact that Cash Transfer Centers is ignoring the Cease and Desist order against them doing business in the state and is loaning to Californians?? (I am on a roll against this company). The more calls they get, the more of a chance that they will do something against this company...

when I emailed PaydayMax & Credit Protection Depot I emailed to ALL of the following: maxcash @ paydaymax.com, compliance @ paydaymax.com, support @ paydaymax.com, compliancedepartment @ paydaymax.com, cdpcustomerservice @ creditprotectiondepotcom & customerservice @ creditprotectiondepot.com. I know its alot, but obviously at least one of them got the trick done for me.

Awesome Jessie!! 8) :sun:

It's always wonderful to hear! And thank you so much for updating us!

Now, I hope I do not insult you when I say: NEVER take out a payday loan again! And never let anyone else if you can help it.

And kscornell, I don't know how it would be possible to force a foreign company to abide by our laws. They laugh at the Cease & Desist order, I am sure they will also laugh at a Contempt of Court ruling. :sigh:
