I received a reply from the Delaware BBB this morning. Payday Select has agreed to refund me 380.00.
I accepted under the condition that they would send me a check within 10 days. I have one more left, Geneva Roth, whose attorney called my home again and wants to resolve the matter. Frogpatch 4 PDLs 0. One left to play. Sweet!
Thank you all so much. I could never have done this alone. Had I not put Route 66 funding into Google I never would have found this site. I would have been losing sleep over this and paying big time. Now I have the distinct honor of being able to help others who are traveling the same road. Thanks again. You know who you are. I won't name names for fear of accidentally leaving someone out.


Oh, frog! I'm so glad to read your post! You are so diligent in your pdl's that SOMETHING good was bound to happen eventually! Congratulations to you! And, I'm hoping your Geneva Roth "thing" turns out as good as this one! GOOD FOR YOU, FROG! :wink:

I almost forgot there is one more. CashnetUsa. I want to pay them but their employees make it imposssible. I just sent a certified letter to the President of the company. They tried to tell me they don't have a mailing address. Well where did I send that letter to. I told them I can't take calls at work and they call anyway. They offer me a settlement but refuse to put it in writing. They wonder why they are not getting paid!

Thanks! Today I am having my first conversation with the lawyer from Geneva Roth. That was the company who refused to stop ACH withdrawals in writing. They are the most unyielding of them all. I threatened criminal action against them so I guess thats why they gave it to Mega Law Firm. I paid them more than the state laws permit, they are not licensed, they violated a federal law. If they would just give me back my hundred bucks I would go away. But no. They want me to pay them! Can you imagine.
Cash Net is one I want to pay but they make it impossible. I just want to make a few payments by mail. They say "you took the money through your account and we expect it back the same way". Yeah right! I am going to give then my new checking account info. Not!
