Just wanted to come on here and post for all the new members of the community and all the guests who are browsing this site. Read these success stories. They are an inspiration and give the knowledge that it can be done. It was awful when I first came here. Awful. 12 internet loans and 5 storefront loans. No money for rent. No money for groceries. No money for gas. Life was dark and ugly and depressing. After coming here by the grace of God, I have NO pdls. No internets, no storefronts. It can be done. I promise. It's hard work. It's time consuming. But you can do it on your own. It does take time. It does get frustrating. You do want to give up. But don't! I owe no plds now. Nothing. I'm still in shock on payday when I don't have internet debits coming out, I don't have to go to storefronts all over town and rewrite and owe. I'm done with them. Done. They are all gone. It was with the knowledge and help of this forum that got me out of the dark tunnel. Please don't give up. Please don't feel alone. With help from this site and the very experienced people, you too will be free. There is freedom from pdls. I promise. :D

You are so right Cannr!!

It's been 2 years for me now, and I still think all the time how lucky I am to have gotten out of that mess. Life is great..We have money in the bank and are able to live a nice life. That's why I'm still here, because I will never forget, and I want to show others that you can and will get there.

spatterson, you're right. I wanted mine to "disappear" too. Well, that won't happen! It was work. Man, and a lot of time! And a lot of determination! I think that if you want out bad enough, you find the strength to do it. And it toughens you also. It's amazing how different I am now after dealing with all of this! spatterson, you WILL be free. I promise you! And, fins, I don't think any of us will ever forget that feeling in the beginning. Talk about depressing and scary! Crap! Now it's cool! I'm a "normal" person again! LOL! It is possible. I never thought I could do it, honestly. But I'll be damned. I did! And so can you guys!

Hi Cannr, thanks for the above post. I was wondering how you rid yourseslf of 5 store fronts? Did you do the EPP, how long did that take and did your credit cards suffer while you got out of the PDL mess?

Cannr, thanks for sharing.

I am so glad you have been able to free yourself from all the negativity that comes from PDL. I'm gld that it's behind you and there is no more running around town rewriting checks for PDLs, stressing about paying bills, and etc.

You are an inspiration and even more, you are such a helpful person helping out those that are still trying to break free. Thanks for all your hard work ^_^

amaranth, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words. That really, really means a lot to me. You don't know how much. Bless you for being so sweet. And, I love helping people dig their way out, amaranth, because it is possible. Thank you, my friend.

what an inspiring story! You have helped me so much and I am forver grateful!
This board is seriously a life-saver and is helping me with all of my debt - not just payday loans! I wish i found this board in 2006 when I declared bankruptcy - i didn't know there were other options..

cannr. . .again, thanks a bunch for all you have done. Thanks to this board, I am now PDL free, as of yesterday. I was lucky. I came here early in the process and had just 5 PDLs. In three short months they are all gone, and at the original amount of the loan, or in two cases, less than, and one by a considerable amount. People. . .please know it can be done. It's a tough go but it can be done

cannr. . the last two happened so fast that I can hardly believe it myself! I am still pinching myself to make sure that I am not dreaming. I have learned a very valuable lesson from all of this. I will never again get caught up in this. If I need something, I will wait. If I have a bill to pay, my creditors will just have to understand that they may have to wait an extra week or two. Keeping them happy is not going to cost me this again. Again, thanks for all your help, and, you will definitely be seeing me on this board for as long as needed. My hope is that someday, PDLs will be a thing of the past.
