I checked the website and it now says...

DEFENDANT, PRO SE, FILES MOTION TO VACATE DEFAULT JUDGMENT. PROPOSED ORDER SUBMITTED

Can someone please tell me what this means? Does that just mean they have the paperwork, or I've won, lost, etc.?

thanks!
Shannon

I have a court date on 2/16 to hear my motion to vacate. I have my lease and utility bills from where I lived since 2003 (everything that was mailed was mailed to my old address in 2007....where I haven't lived since 2003). I'm hoping it will be enough to vacate the judgment!

Okay, so the judge vacated the default judgment against me today! YEAH!!! Here is my situation and question:

Last payment made (per credit report) 10/2003
Judgment filed 8/2008
SOL in Indiana 6 years
Default judgment vacted 02/2010
Obviously the SOL has run out, correct? (as of today 02/16/2010)
New court date (set by judge today) 4/2010
When I go to court, does the SOL apply even though the original judgment was filed within the SOL but it has now expired?

does that make sense?

Thanks...you all are awesome!
