Tootie (aka Lady Katherine of Willoughby - her AKC registered name) is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I've ALWAYS wanted a Corgi, ever since I was small. Don't know why, they just appeal to me. Probably because they're built like me. LOL! Her legs are only 4 inches long, and her body is long like a Dachshund's would be. She's a little overweight for her breed, but all Corgis have that tendency - doesn't take much for them to gain. She came from a rescue in Ohio. Her owners were an elderly couple who got her as a pup and couldn't take her out for walks, so she only went out to go potty and ate lots of treats...so the weight piled on. We're working on it. :-)
Thanks guys! She's my little sweetie - I know I'm a Corgi perso

Thanks karen & sass! She's feeling some better, but still not 1
Thanks karen & sass! She's feeling some better, but still not 100%, and may not be for a very long, time, according to our vet. She's just not getting her strength back from the virus she had, and she may have problems for the rest of her life. Apparently this virus is pretty damaging to small breed dogs, and some of them have a hard time recovering from it. She's middle-aged, too (Corgis only live about 13-15 yrs, and she's 6.5 yrs old), and has had health problems in the past (cancer & tumors removed), so she's a special girl.
