I have a 2 1/2 child and never once received a peeny from her father he is in the military and has a ''wife'' and another daughter which he full supports he isnt worried about his other child at all he said when she was 2 months old he wasnt worried about helping support her I could always count on my parents for support is their anyway i can receive back child support?

This site typically doesn't deal with child support but I will share my experience with you.

Most of the time all you have to do is contact that department within the state. Some states require paternity to be establish, other's it depends on whether he request it or not. Has child support ever been ordered? State laws vary on back child support. Some states only pay from the time paternity was established. After going through the state and if he still doesn't pay, they will tag his income tax return.

Since he is in the military, it would be in his best interest to take care of this. The military looks down on dead beat dads.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask more if you need to.

You will not qualify to receive any "child support" if you have not filed and been awarded "child support" by your state Child Support Enforcement Department. And if it is granted, it is not a retroactive amount, so you will only be entitled to start collecting as of the approval date, and nothing prior will be ordered.

It is easy to say now, but you "should" have filed when your child was born. Go right now and file!
