I received a 1099c for a debt from 2006. I was wondering if you could claim Insolvency exclusion with this debt?

Just curious...did you happen to receive that 1099-C from portfolio recovery associates?
If you did, you might want to check out budhibbs.com. The validity of these 1099-C'S may be in question. I posted a tab about this on the debt collection forum earlier today.
