Considering that the OP made the post only after two Direct Deposit cycles in the tax year, if the OP sent in a paper return with everything correct there is still no way (s)he would have received a Direct Deposit refund yet.
IRS has stated that returns claiming additional Recovery Rebate (Form 1040 Line 70) will be subjected to significant review because of the sheer volume of errors in claiming it.
