Can IRS forgive most of my debt? If true how ?


See, IRS is not a charity organization. So, other than a few reasons, the IRS does not always forgive the debt.

The IRS may forgive your debt if you can convince them neither you have any asset or any income to pay off your debt.

Then the IRS may forgive your debt.

IRS usually considers exceptional circumstances. So, if you can show that you're facing extreme hardship and you can't pay the amount in full, the IRS may forgive a certain amount.
