IRS did not take our payment out last month!!

I make monthly payments to the IRS for back taxes, they never deducted out payment in Jan....The money is still in the account, however its now time for the Feb payment (today) and normally they take it the week day before its due, again so far nothing has come out of my account. Any ideas what the heck could be going on? I need to call them, but I HATE calling them, as it takes so long to get someone on the phone...Thanks Reny

Reny- I would call them.You don't want them to think you aren't paying, even though they are the ones taking the money out. Is there any way you could have paid the full amount by now?
When we paid the IRS, I called them every month and made a payment. They actually worked with me better than any other agency, although we didn't owe them a whole lot. But I have heard horror stories about them too, so give them a call.
I have heard that Mondays and Fridays are the busiest days, so be prepared to wait!
