Every year a huge chunk of money goes toward payment of taxes. This year, I want to lower my tax bill. Does anyone know how to do it?

You can reduce your tax bill by making your home energy efficient. As far as I know, government of USA introduced tax credit for energy efficient houses. It will be valid till December 2010. So, if you want to install something to make it energy efficient, then do it before 31st December.
