I have refinanced my home loan in October 2010. I am paying all the mortgage interests and other taxes on time. My question is, can I claim tax deductions on the origination fees I have paid to my lender? Thanks for any information.

Yes, you can claim tax deductions this year. In case you have forgotten the total amount you have paid as your origination fee, then go through HUD-1 settlement statement. You must have received this statement from your title attorney or escrow provider at the time of closing.
