1099-c After Death of Spouse

After my wife's death in 2010 I negotiated pay-offs on her credit cart debt, each over $600. The cards were in her name only and her estate was insovent. I received a 1099-C for 2010 indicating the borrower (deceased) was liable for repayment. Do I need to report the amounts on the 1099-c as income?
