I am a grandmother of two. One of the kids is adhd and lives with us the other stays here so her mom can work. The loan company has raised our mortgage to 1300 a month because we were late when my husband was on strike. They gave us an ultimatum and my husband was desperate so he went and took out payday loans. Now we can't make our credit cards and all the payday loans and the mortgage. They will not work with us at all. This little mobile home is all we have. I can't believe they are such hard *****. No one will help us. Please give some advice for we are going down fast. So much appreciation for any good advice,

dee

Thanks so much you guys. Sometimes it is just nice to know someone is out there. I am waiting for the contact. Yeah my grandson is on medication for he also has high functioning autism. I am looking everything over on the sight that is there and finding out a lot. Mostly it is nice that there are people that want to help and not just make money or put you down and make it all worse.

If your husband was on stike that indicate hes in a union, has your husband talked with his local chairman for business Officer about assistance from the strike fund? A portion of his monthly dues pays into a fund to help members through financially in the event a strike is called. This is not charity or a hand out. Your husband has paid in to this as long as he has been a member of that union, after all that what unions are there for , to protect their members in good times and bad. In the mean time you may want to investigate refinancing your mortgage. I have never heard of a mortgage company that raises your payments for being late.

I am a Division Legislative Representative for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters / Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, and this is the same advice I would give one our own members in this situation.
