I used truecredit.com but I noticed people say myfico.com is a bit better. Anyone here use myfico.com and do you like it?

I think the packages that myfico provides are more informative and user friendly. Myfico provides adequate information about these packages and the possible purpose of them also. Consumer can view the purpose of a particular package first and then order it.

Moreover all the packages of myfico include reports from 3 bureaus unlike truecredit. But ultimately it depends upon the consumers' experience that how much comfortable are they with these companies.

The overall appeal of myfico looks better, but I only got 1 report from myfico as opposed to what bryan says. TrueCredit gave me all three reports, and i can update as much as i want... so if you're into looks get my fico... more **** for your buck... go with truecredit

I have both TrueCredit and MyFICO. I am currently in the midst of my free trial on MyFICO, after being a member of TrueCredit for about a year.

I will say that MyFICO has advantages such as Forums like this one, you get real FICO scores, not FAKO scores like on TrueCredit, and they will give you access to all 3 reports with some plans. Oh that's another reason... there are several different plans to suit your individual needs.

On the other hand, TrueCredit lets me update every 24 hrs., MyFICO doesn't. I like that for now, because I'm trying to monitor everything closely and bring my score up.

I think you just have to find the right one for you, based on what your needs are. Check them both out maybe, with a free trial, then decide which one you like and keep that one. Don't forget to cancel the other one before 30 days though!

If you check your credit too often it can have adverse effects, i had truecredit and checked my scores like white on rice and they dropped. I just canceled truecredit finally. the customer service agent admitted that the "grade-scale" service they provide is more important that an accurate credit score. I now have myfico for some reason i am only getting 2 scores but they are more accurate.

fako vs fico = fico won my heart
