I defaulted on my loan with Universal Cash Advance. They called me and made a payment arrangement in November and made a withdrawal I asked when my next payment would be and her reply was someone would contact me. Next thing I know I'm getting a call from american debt collectors I set up 2 more payments with them three days later universal debits more money out of my account so I call american debt and I say who am I supposed to be paying you guys or universal she gets universal on the phone and gives me a name at universal and says to call them she doesn't have 3 way calling. Well meantime I get on universal cash advance website and it says we are no longer accepting new loans this is only for existing customers. I call universal the lady is livid at the american debt lady for giving out her name and she says she is aware of my situation and a supervisor will call me back which a supervisor does call me back 3 days later. When I call her back at the number she left I get universal cash tell them my name they said did she call you and leave you a message I said yes they put me on hold and transfer me to someone I believe was on a cell phone. She says shes the manager and universal deducted this last time for a payment I didn't make in November I said I made that payment plus two more payments with american debt collectors so this would be a total of four payments I said who am I supposed to be paying she said well that was it your loan is paid in full I said I want that in writing she says ok. I told her to fax it to me which she did, but her fax had no address or phone number for universal cash advance and no name on it just customer service universal cash advance. I called my bank when this first happened and disputed this transaction I'm having this last payment returned to my account. I see people on this board getting their checking accounts raided by payday loan companies. Dispute these charges have the bank return your funds and change your account if they aren't going to notify you of withdrawal or uphold the arrangements made. Like in my case I didn't authorize them to deduct that and I'm having that returned to me. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this company or had any dealings with them? Also what input does anyone have on one click cash, united cash advance and xtra cash. I also have to deal with them. Let me know Thanks

Universal Cash Advance says that you have paid the loan in full. They also faxed you with a confirmation. But have you checked the account in your credit report? If the lender as well as the collection agency has reported this account in your file with any negative remarks, they need to update your full payments also. It is only after this update, your future lenders will understand that you have been responsible to pay back your previous loans.

We have some members on this board dealing with the companies you pointed out. Hopefully, they will be willing to share their personal experiences with these companies.

Lastly, do not take a payday loan in the future. You might have also read the ill-effects of taking a payday loan. These loans entirely destroy the financial and the budgeting system. It is better to stay away from them.

I currently have Universal Cash Advance and One Click Cash on my debt consolidation program. I know some people who are currently have problems with One Click Cash. I have not yet but I'm not going to count it out in the future. Do a search for One Click Cash in the forums and you will be able to find the information that way. I also received a letter from American debt collectors. I sent a validation letter to them a couple of weeks ago but I have not heard back yet. I wish I could be of more help.
