I have payday loans thru the following
National loan services 300 paid them 100
Ez loans 250 paid them 276
500 fast cash 300 paid 350
United cash loans 300 paid 350
Cash today 300 paid 375
Aip 300 paid them 250
Cash supply 200 paid them 300

I live in virginia they are all internet loans and they all have defaulted because i could not pay my bills from them taking my money so i closed my bank account. Now they call my job all day everyday and im about to lose my job because i was written up and im still on probation.

Just by looking I would guess that most of these companies aren't going to be licensed to lend in your state, but I didn't check.

please find Virginia state info here http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html

According to VA laws, they are not allowed to rollover the loan. Which means that everytime you've paid to refinance or rollover the loan, that money should go to principle.

It sucks that they call you at work, they do that because they know they can't really collect any other way but harrass the money out of you. If you've already gotten in trouble for the calls, I'm not sure what the best thing for you to do would be, but if you haven't already said anything, you could tell your boss that your ID was stolen and someone took out some pdl's under your name. That way it isn't quite so embarassing . . . . Unfortunatly, cease and desist letters sometimes provoke more calls at work, or are completly ignored.

Try to send your cease and desist letters rrr so that you have proof they got them...I am a manager and supervise 9 people. We do not allow personal calls either. I have had only 3 calls before my letters went out...I amswer the call, said sorry no persoanl calls are allowed and hung up. Lucky for me they did not call back. I would definitely say something to your boss...I have had employees explain strange things to me and I have always tried to be very understanding...I even answered for one girl and told the person she wasn't allowed personal calls at work and to contact her another way.

I have a loan with AIP as well and I live in Virginia. I also have loans with ameriloan, PayDay Services and Advance America. (Advance America is the only storefront loan, the rest are all internet) How can I tell whether they are licensed in VA or not? Last payday, my parents and I had to transfer the money back and forth right after it was deposited so the finance charges would bounce because we wouldn't have had the money for the rent and car payment other wise. So, I am guessing we have defaulted here. We can't afford to pay them back anyway, as we haven't made a single payment yet, just been paying the finance charges. We are in a mess as well and do not know what to do. I have the four I mentioned, and my father has six all together. he has one with Advance America and Ameriloan. I believe he has one with PayDayYes and One Click Cash as well. I'm not sure of the others. Pay Day services has been calling me at work, but I haven't been answering the phone when they call because I recognize their number and just don't answer. I'm sure they wouldn't want to hear that I can't pay them... That's all I really know for now.
