I sent letters to my credit card acounts, asking to waive interest rates and reduce the balance, before I file for bankrupcy. Will I actually here from them?

Now it completely depends upon them. They are supposed to respond to your letter and as you have mentioned that you are going to file bankruptcy, they can come up with some payment plan so that you can afford it.

But don't forget, they also know how difficult filing bankruptcy is. So if they don't accept your proposal and don't reply to your letter, what can you do?

It seems that intend to reduce the debt amount and rate of interest as well. You have come to the right place. You are going to receive a free counseling as you have registered with this site. The consultant will suggest you the payment plan that best suits your budget and then will negotiate with your creditors tactfully so that they agree to restructure the loan.

The best part of the program is, unlike bankruptcy, it will not affect your credit history adversely. To know more about the benefits of debt consolidation, please go through the link below-
