When are your next payments due? Since you have always paid them, then I would contact each of them and ask if they are willing to set up payment arrangements. For the ones who are not, I would contact corporate offices and speak to someone over the stores. Luckily, you are protected from criminal action, as specified in the laws. But, you might want to contact your bank to be sure that they will not force your account open in the event that the stores try to process the checks. I'm not sure how aggressive any of the places are. Maybe someone on here has dealt with one of them personally and can share with you their experience. Good luck and keep us posted. :-)

Davelynne, To add to what Eleroo has advised, You want to be sure you speak to a store or district manager and from what I have read in other posts, it is better if you do that in person. The only one I am familiar with is Check n go and that is through all the posts about them. They can be difficult. You can search the threads for information about all your companies by using the search box in the top right corner of the page. If someone has posted about them, the search will find what they have said. It is interesting and is helpful until other can post for you here.

dave, regarding storefront pdls, it's actually a matter of who the manager is. Each of your storefronts are going to act differently. Your state law does prohibit criminal action. It also states that you can have a repayment plan. This works on your side. However, your best bet is to contact each storefront. Ask them their procedure as to how you can repay your loan. All storefronts operate differently. And, as I was saying regarding the manager, some storefronts (who have numerous locations) will be more than willing to work with you regarding repayment. Others will be nasty as all hell and it's the manager that's nasty. We have Quik Cash where I am. It's not the Quik Cash company itself that is nasty, it's the manager. If you can, contact each of your storefronts. Explain your situation (tell them the bank closed your account). Tell them you can not pay them in full, but you acknowledge your debt and would like to be set up on a payment plan. Some will want a whole lot (like half) down, others will say okay $50 a week, others will say they'll give you another 30 days to pay, etc. They are all different. Call each one up. Talk to the manager. Ask about a payment plan. I'm telling you, each one will be different. If you encounter a nasty manager, call the corporate office and ask them the policy regarding payment plans. Do this and let us know what's going on with them. You might be surprised by some. Some are very willing to take payments each week or every two weeks. Some will ask for more. Remember that the manager makes a commission on these loans, so some might not want to cooperate a whole lot. Just keep your state law in your mind. You can be put on a payment plan and criminal action is prohibited. Please post any questions or problems, and let us know how it goes after talking to them.
Payment Plan - Do I need in writing
Do I need to get the payment plan in writing ? Do they do that? thanks for all the information.

dave, I've never gotten anything in writing. I just made sure I stick to whatever I promised to do. If I said I would be there with $50 every two weeks, my butt would be there with $50 every two weeks. Actually, you can even mail the payments in. Just send it certified so you can track it and make sure the payment was received. Some store fronts may make you call them and tell them, yes, you're still coming in to make a payment. They basically just want their money back. But I had never gotten anything in writing. I just made sure I stuck to the agreement made.
Also if there is some reason that you can not make your schedule
Also if there is some reason that you can not make your scheduled payment make sure you contact them. Make sure that you keep that line of communication going.
