Just got done watching The View that had a segment with John Stosel on "age of consent" Since i have a teeage son, this topic was an eye-opener. The issued covered the situation where there are two teens having consensual **** and got caught and the boy being forced to register as a
**** offender. Some states from what i understand do not separate the two categories. So some kid that has
**** with his girlfriend can potentially be labeled as a
**** offender. God knows i am not advocating teenage
****, but we were all teenagers at one time and made some pretty stupid mistakes, but feel that this is taking the situation too far. I will be watching the show tonight with my son.

It was informative to say the least. From what i understood from the segment, each State is different. Some just lump them (teens) into the ****offender catagory so there is no way to distinquish between a real dangerous **** offender and some kid that got caught.
