Hello All!! I've read some posts about Cap One not reporting a credit limit. I noticed on my CR that my acct is open but no limit. This is the only card we have & haven't used it for years...paying & paying. We have missed several payments in the past but have been current for a year now. So my account according to the bureaus is maxed out & hurts my score. Something just isn't right about that. Maybe I just answered my own question. yup? nope? Maybe it will help someone else. Thanks for you time. Rach

Rach,

Creditors are supposed to report your credit limit. Credit limit is important since it directly influence your debt to available credit ratio.

Ask Capital One to report the credit limit. The process is similar again. Send your correspondence through CMRRR. if they do not honor to your request, you can either dispute it with bureaus or add a statement with your credit report. Adding statement will not help to improve score, however, you can give a clarification to your future creditors this way.
