My story isn't that different than anyone else in a serious debt situation. It all started with the threatening phone calls and letters in the mail. The "predators" back you against the wall & you feel as though there is no way out. If I had not found Lawgistix, I would have filed bankruptcy and had to deal with that being on my credit report for 10 long years. I knew SETTLING my debt would take some time and patience. When I signed the contract with Lawgistix, I was told that I would have a "settlement account" and that any additional funds I could afford to put in there would help the negotiators settle my accounts in a more timely manner. Therefore, any funds that came my way I wasn't expecting went straight into that account. I feel I had the best customer service representative and negotiators in the business. It has been 3 long years of saving and playing the creditors game of back & forth with settlement offers, but I'm now debt free.
I wish all of you the best of luck with your situation.

Great! Enjoy your debt free life. You must have learnt to take care of your credit during these struggling times. Don't let your credit go spoiled in the coming days. You have covered the hard way all these years. I am happy that you are feeling better now and sharing your success story.

Did you say you completed your settlement program with the help of Lawgistix?

I was just wondering if Lawgistics had ever been sued? My husband used them before, I think ? How long have they been in business? We went into debt 2 years ago and had to go to court. Lawgistics got us a lawyer and we didn't have to file bankruptcy. We had people from the credit card places calling us and they called my neighbor! My husband was so mad  He called lawgistics and they sent some kinda letter and they quit callin but then we had a summons brought to our house by a cop and I freaked! OMG! I couldn't believe it! I was so scared they would take my car! We didn't have the money right then to get caught up because my husband had got hurt at work and he has his own business so we didn't make any money for like, a couple months and we got behind quick. They told us we could use our hardship to help explain our situation. The lady at lawgist helped my husband get an extension so we had enough time to get some money together. We had no idea how to file all this paperwork. But all our creditors starting coming at us at once and we thought for sure we would have to file bankruptcy, but then they referred us to an attorney and we settled it all. It was a freakin nightmare, but it has beeen awhile and we are more careful about what we do and they still help with questions my husband has from time to time. Have they been sued? I would like to knwo if someone won against them cuz they worked for us.

Someone here has a problem with Lawgistix. I understood from his posts that Lawgistix had made him sign something where it was clearly mentioned that if the creditors files a case against the debtor, Lawgistix won't be involved in between. You will get the complete story in this link.

I read the complaint and it sounds like this person was in way over their head anyway with 27 accounts! My God, they aren't miracle workers! Does lawgis have attorneys to help if you get sued by a creditor? I think my husband was REFERRED to an attorney that they told him about. How can they go to court with you if they aren't attorneys? I hope they don't give out legal advice!

im1ola,

Congratulations on completing the program! I'm getting closer and closer to my goal, too! I have 3 more accounts that need to be settled. It is my understanding that the company helps you with your credit score. Have you gone through this yet? What is your score looking like? I'm anxious to see what kind of score I will have once I'm done with everything. They say it will be really good, but I'd love to have a real person tell me their experience of it. Is it easy?

I haven't heard of Lawgistix being sued at all. I'm currently in their program and I have to say that their Customer Service department is excellent. Whenever I have to leave a voicemail my rep always calls me back the same day or the next day when I leave messages after she has left. I've had four accounts that have been settled and have two more to go. Those creditors out there can be so rude and pushy. Before I joined Lawgistix I was bullied into agreeing to make a payment even though I knew I did not have the money. I can honestly say that the negotiators at Lawgistix are very good at their job. I did have to settle one account over the 40% guarantee but it was my decision and I felt that it was a really good deal, I mean after all, I made the debt in the first place. I know just what you mean about the creditors contacting neighbors and they harassed my parents as well! I am very glad that I found them and will tell anyone that wants to hear my story. Kudos to Lawgistix and its employees! :D

Solutions_4_Me..........my credit score has increased some because of the creditors that have already reported to the bureaus correctly. According to my contract I don't think I've been "through" with the program long enough to see a drastic change, but I'm looking forward to the financial benefits of a great credit score.

I am so happy to hear a success story. My husband and I are just starting down this road and since we have always had very good credit, it's a painful start. My last score was ran about 6 months agao and was 753. I know now it's going to tank but we just cannot pay these bills any longer. I, too, am anxious to see what is going to happen to our scores. Will we ever recover??

Funny how shortly after someone from lawgistix made a fool of themselves on here posting how this site was a lead generating site and a scam someone who has never posted on this site has a first post of how wonderful lawgistix performed in eliminating their debts. PLEASE!!! Dave Fishman needs to learn how to get himself out of debt. From a very reliable source, the owner Dave Fishman has fallen behind on debts of his own, sued by Kasas for 40k for illegally operating in Kansas. Whats even better about this loser is that his family was in collections and was disbarred for committing fraud.

Seems he hasnt changed much. Stay far away from Lawgistix or any other debt company in Vegas. The guy is a slob and has a big hand in ruining the industries reputation. Go have a twinkie and pay for your web sites Dave. Terrible design!

OMG. I just noticed that the posts were from a long time ago!!! I have GOT to start paying more attention. I was about to get all excited and look up the debt settlement company!

Stefan...I feel 100% confident that you will be posting your "I'm debt free" post here in the very near future. You seem to have the determination and the courage to make it happen. :-) That is truly admirable.:-)

all they do is take your money and run leaving you to face the creditors by your self. we had to face lawsuits alone. We finally filed and got it overwith. our lawyer sued lawgistics and we were able to recover some money. stayaway from thise people.
