Is anyone having any luck consolidating their PDL's
with T & C?

Just curious, I am now doubtful whether the people who have recently signed for the services of T&C are actually getting the results they expected before signing the contract. If people have to wait for so long for someone to contact them, I wonder if their quality of the negotiation process will be worth or not. I am just thinking if this is the beginning of some negatives about T&C

I have been with T & C since March and have yet to have one problem. I agree that the hold times are long but try calling first thing in the am. I have found that is the best time to get someone on the phone. I live in Alabama and do not use the 800 number, I dont know if that makes a difference or not? I will say this though, if your not happy with them this early maybe you should consider going somewhere else. I also was very proactive in handling my debts, I dealt with all of the payday lenders myself, this made the process go alot quicker. Hope you guys find what your looking for. Stephanie

By this time, T&C has already taken the retainer fee of $155. And I guess, it is non-refundable until the plan finishes. So, the consumer is stuck nowhere. I still think, T&C has to get some answers towards these problems faced by their customers recently .

I am w/ T&C too and I'm not getting any response for 3 weeks now. I have to call all of my pdl and make my own payment arrangement w/ them. None of them said T&C ever contacted them, I'll find out tomorrow if they are lying. I am taking Wednesday off to take care of this pdl mess and call T&C all day.
If you're thinking of consolidating your loan, you might want to consider other company and don't stop communicating w/ your pdl.

A lot of people are asking me for T&C's phone# too but I am hesitant to give because I am hearing negative feedbacks about them & I'm experiencing it myself. I made payment arrangements again w/ 3 of my pdl. They were firm that they did not receive any proposal from T&C.
T&C should stop accepting clients for now so that they won't loose their good reputation. I am thinking if I should stop sending them my payments and deal w/ pdl myself. I already made 6 pymt arrangements since I signed up w/ T&C but I'm still sending them my weekly fee but nothing is happening.

I am having the same problem as most of you all. I have signed up with t and C months ago and have gotten nothing, I have made my own payment arrangements with some of my pdl's but still need help and am not getting it from T and C. SO i don't know what else to do about this problem. I have called several times to speak with someone and no one has called me back. I think they should be informed of how unhappy their customers are with thier service. I know the 155.00 could help me out alot right now, and the weekly fees i am sending in. I am going to stop sending in payments since i am not getting any kind of help.

Where you all are gettting arrangements made iwth the pdls on your own, I would quit sending payment to T&C and demand the $155.00 retainer back and explain to them that they haven't contacted any of the creditors and are near to impossible to get in contact with. I know others have dropped T&C and have had to battle, but they got their retainer fees back.

Please let me know because I have sent in my payment and is about to send in my first two payments.

I would talk to T and C first before I would negotiate with the payday loan company. You don't know whether they are telling the truth that no one from T and C contacted them. So far, the only company I ever hear from is Cash Central but I have not heard a word from Ten Dollar. So I am assuming that they are working on it.

As for the customer service, I seem to be in contact with the receptionist who claims that she doesn't know anything. But she does give the message that I called because they usually call me back within an hour. However, I called today and it has been two hours and no response.

I received a message today after sending the email below. I had asked that they call my cell phone, but they left me a voicemail at work. The person who called, I won't use her name, but she said she was the customer satisfaction manager. I was given the general number to call back, and once again waited 20 minutes to get thru. After I was thru they indicated she was not available and would need to call me back. Well still waiting for the call back...

To: Management of T&C,
I would like to take a moment to express that I have not been satisfied with the services of T&C since I signed up for your services. I have called several times and everytime I call I cannot speak to a live person, I'm always told to leave my number and someone will call me back. I don't know what the status is for each of the creditors I asked you to work with. Also I have not received any new payment coupons for my account since the first two that were due on 08/28 and 09/04. Many of us have signed up for your services based on the feedback we received from the following website.

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/

If you look at the feedback over the past few weeks many people are complaining about your services acknowledging the same issues that I am experiencing. It has reached the point that people no longer want to refer your company to other people in need, since there fearful of the same type of service going forward.

When, I signed up for your services, I thought I would have a dedicated counselor to help me thru this painful process I am going thru. When you are behind on payday loans it is not a pleasant experience and many of these companies harass you on a daily basis. Some of us are now wondering if you have taken on more clients than you actually can handle. I just wanted to take a moment to pass along this information.

I finally got a call from T&C this afternoon but I missed it because I was talking to my AG when they called. I will try to call them tomorrow am. I also got a mail from them saying that my weekly fee is not $80 anymore but $110. I was planning to tell them that they should lower my fees because I already made 6 payment arrangements myself and all pdl money orders are ready to be mailed out tomorrow. But after my meeting w/ AG, I realized that signing w/ T&C just made my situation worse. AG can't help me but ask the pdl from harrasing me at work. They referred me to Legal Services but when I went there they said they are not giving legal advise inregards to pdl mess but then referred me again to sherrifs dept to file an affidavit of exemption.
I called all of my pdl and they swear that they did not hear nor received anything from T&C. My loan w/ Cash Central was $400 is now $800 bec of all the fees that they charged me after defaulting.
I asked for a written explanation but couldn't provide me w/ one. I will write to my AG again and asked them if they could help settle w/ Cash. I don't know what else to do. Any advice?

Speaking of Cash Central, they sent me a letter saying that my loan went from 492 to 692. Amazing.

I finally got in contact with T & C when I wanted to add additional loans and they told me that my fee went up from $12 a week to $51 a week and that I need to have my fees paid by September 22 which there is no chance that I am going to have that payment by the 22nd.

I wouldn't trust what the loan company tells you because they will try to trick you into paying more. My choice to choose T&C was the fact that I couldn't make any arrangements with my PDL's. But reading in here and hearing the horror stories, I don't know what to believe.

T&C really need to improve, that is for certain because they are playing around with our money.

What I would like to hear here is someone with a positive story about T&C to alleviate our concerns. Anyone who has successfully completed a program with T&C?

I finally got a hold of T&C. Again, they gave me an assurance that everything is going to be ok. They will contact my creditors esp those who are harassing me at work and threatening me with wage garnishments.
For my piece of mind, I asked them to send me a copy of the proposals and gave me a list of my creditors who agreed on consolidation. I took 6 out of consolidation cause I already made pymt arrangement w/ them. But my fee is now $95. They said one of my creditors wants more money that????????s why they have to raise it up. I still don????????t know what to think, I just want to get out of this mess and stop all pdls from harassing me.
I already exhausted all of my resources and if this deal w/ T&C won????????t work out, I don????????t know what else to do.
I was able to make pymt arrangement w/ some of them bec they are not really asking for lots of $$. With Kosters, they only want me to pay whatever I can. I am not sure if this is the best way to deal w/ them but ???????.
Alexandra, you said you have a loan w/ Cash Central too. How are you dealing w/ them. Theya re the main source of my source this past few weeks bec they are so hard to deal with.

Cash Central keep sending me letters and calling me on home phone, never the work phone. In the past two days, I haven't heard from them.

T&C said Cash Central wants $100 per month. That works out well for me considering they could have asked for $100 per month in the first place and I would not have needed to contact T&C.

Now the other three that I just added, I don't know. Cashnet may not be a problem. United Cash Loans could very well be a problem. And let's not forget the dreaded One Step. I hope that everything will work out.

I talked with the customer sat mgr today, she was helpful, she even conferenced me in with Sonic Payday, what a treat that was. Anyhow my payment was changed as well from $54.00 to $78.00, I can deal with that. I will see what happens in the next week...

Ok, you guys wanted someone to post something positive about T & C. I had 6 pdls when I started with them, settle 4 myself and paying on 2 through them. I had a car that I totaled and still owed money on, (3) credit cards and some past medical bills. They have made every payment they were supposed to, but so have I, and one time. I started at the end of March and just received a letter from (1) of the credit card companies that my account is back in good standing (whew). One of the remaining pdls is Advance America (storefront, not internet) and they would have no problem contacting me if my payments were not being received in a timely manner. They set it up for (4) $100.00 to pay them off. My payment also started out lower than it ended up being and I do think that is a mistake that T & C does make. They should give you a payment amount until they know what the creditors will settle for, or make it very clear to you that your payment will probably go up. Thats my only complaint at this point. I hope that things start working out for everyone. I will also say that it was at least a month before people stopped calling me, so maybe a couple of weeks will turn things around.

When you consolidate your pdl, do you still pay that enormous fee or are you getting a break so you can get to the actual balance?

I recently sigened up w/T&C also, I have continued to get phone calls which right now I'm ignoring until I can talk to a T&C rep, I will ask them to fax or send me copies of the proposals. It is only fair to let them do their job and explain to you before you get upset, there is such thing as work piling up at T&C and also at the companies they are sending the proposals to. The collections department may not be receiving word from another department that there is a payment plan pending or something like that. Chicagobabe-did you get copies of your proposals? Was T&C ok with you asking for that?

I am a customer of T&C and have been since December 2005. I too have had issues with hold times and return phone calls. I sent an email today and received a call back right away.

I have been asked by the manager there for all of you who are customers with suggestions to give them about how to improve their customer service and hold time issues to let you know that they welcome your suggestions. You can posted them on here and I can forward them or if you want their email address PM me and I can give it to you.

I know without them I would not have survived my pdl mess and be out of it mostly by now. Please if you have an issue let me know and I will do whatever I can to help you.

Sue

I finally received my letter from T&C (at the same receiving a letter from Rio Resources who have sent my loan to a collection company). They said that my payments would be $51 a week and that Cash Central wants $104 per month (I will be through with them in a few months).

So I am giving them a chance. But I have to admit. I am glad that I have a few dollars extra in my pocket now.

Sue, Shortly after my last post, I received a call back from T&C and have gotten everything straightened out. I need to pay them more than originally quoted however, it is still not unreasonable compared to what I would be paying without them, and I've gotten the payment schedule arranged, I get paid 1 time a month so, so far I am technically behind in payments to them, but they have fixed their records so it indicates my payday is 1xmonth. They are a very reasonable company to work for and although getting through to them is difficult I think that this is the best solution for me. As for the others out there, remember that no one is forcing you to stay with T&C and if you are not happy with the pricing them you should try to work with them perhaps there is a solution for you too.

Pauli's Girl, sorry for the late response. Regarding your question if I received T&C's proposal to my creditors. Not yet. They only sent me a statement of how much each creditors are requesting as a monthly payment.
I think T&C is improving on responding to their customers. Good for everyone. Keep on posting your thoughts so that we can all work on resolving our issues w/ T&C.

Is everyone still having issues with T&C response times and creditors still calling? I certainly am, they have taken my inital free, In September. And in October I paid my monthy fee. And I am still getting creditors telling me they haven't heard from T&C. Any suggestions? HELP!!! This is almost as bad as just ignoring the situation altogether.

hi paulisgirl. I had the same problem 2 weeks ago but as soon as I called T&C about it they call my creditors back and problem solved. BUT NOT ALL....I'm still getting letters and calls too. I told T&C not to wait for my creditors to sue me before they take an action and they've been doing their job so far.

Chicagobabe...glad to know that they are listening. I hope I'm on the road to that place also. I've been in touch via email and a return call from T&C so I feel much better. My monthly amount has gone up, however, I figure that way the bills will be paid down faster right. Good luck, thanks for the response. Pauli'sGirl
