Hello,

Recently our debt seems to be getting more out of control. We live in Northern California now and have been for a little over 2 years. Everything is so expensive here it's making our once manageable debt spiraling down the drain. We have a little under 15k in debt and I am looking for a reputable place to go. There are so many choices online and I am sure many of them are as crooked as can be.

It seems like many people here like Debtwave. Can anyone help fill me in on thier one time contribution and small monthly service fee information? I want this done and off my plate of worry. I have enough stress with work and a family. With the advent of check cards, I don't even want a CC anymore. If I dont have the money to pay for it, I don't need it.

Any help, guidence, information and opinions are welcome.

I actually did sign up after I sent this. I never got the forum mail, but I instantly got a mail from Superior Debt Services. How about them? Does anyone have any relieving information for me about them?

I signed up with Superior Debt Services about a month ago and haven't had any complaints thus far. I haven't really heard any negative things about them from others, which is one of the reasons I chose them.

Are you interested in a debt consolidation plan or debt settlement? I'm doing debt settlement with Superior. I think if you're over $10,000 in debt, a lot of companies suggest debt settlement as the most affordable and fastest way to clear your debts. This company was very good about answering all of my questions and giving me thorough information on their program.

Few others are also comfortable with Superior debt relief. They are nice in answering the questions of people after you have signed with them. See this http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/settlement/about12688.html

How much is the total amount of your debt? debt settlement will be a good choice if the amount is huge. Consolidation may take longer time to eliminate the complete amount. Figure out in the debt settlement11 article on how this program actually works. You will get informed before signed up for the program.

I think I would prefer debt settlement. Consolidation sounds great if it was me getting a loan and closing all my cards and trusting myself to do that. I am tired of debt and want to get rid of it as soon as possible.

The thing to remember if you choose a settlment program is that you are not going to see immediate results. Waiting is the hardest part. Once you have made enough payments to your settlement account, the settlement company can then start the negotiating process with your creditors. They're not doling out payments to your creditors such as a consolidation plan would do.

If you have any reservations or questions, ask the debt settlement company you are considering. It is best to get as much info. as you can before signing a contract, so you can make an informed choice.
