I know this is where the pay day loan action is at!

Ok I have just started the battle with MyCashNow, UnitedCashLoans, USFASTCASH, Cash2Day4U, Worldwidecash, Cash Transfer Centers.

I have faxed letters signed with confirmations that they were illegally operating in Massachusetts. I stated I wanted to pay them but through a consolidation. I have not heard from any of them with the exception of Cash Transfer Centers who told me they don't charge interest but a fee. Which sounds like a legal loophole. Anyway if I don't pay them it will go to United Fidelity in Texas. Hopefully they will take the consolidation proposal, but who knows it's ultimately up to the company.

I had heard back from Worldwidecash now they said they wrote off my 200 dollar loan since I closed the account they couldn't debit money anymore and since I paid 700 bucks on 200 dollars loan they got rid of it. Whew.

I got a renewal letter from USFASTCASH saying my next payment was unapplicable however I called and they said their compliance department will call me.

UnitedCashLoans sent me text message saying my loan had been paid off and I could take a new one. I owed them 200 dollars. USFASTCASH and UNITEDCASHLOANS are run by the same guy. However I bet this loan is in the compliance department as well.

Believe it or not Cash2day4u "Cashtoday ltd." called and said they wanted to talk about my fax. I have never heard back from them it's been a week and half.

MyCashNow the collections rep told me she gave my fax to her manager and I have heard nothing from them either. I have a feeling something is brewing. However this was probably the smartest thing of done with these evil payday loans. We'll see I'll keep updating this thread as time goes on and more developments occur.

Hello and welcome to the site. It seems like you on top of the game already. Good luck with everything and if you have questions just feel free to ask and we will help you the best we can. Just remember some of them are going to be real tough to deal with, if you haven't already done so, you should do a search on all of your companies here on the site and see what others have gone through in dealing with these companies.

Thanks Pink!

Funny cash2day4u just called me from London and wants their money. Even after they took all my money for months. Now I have read the story from the former Cashtoday ltd employee earlier this week. Very enlightening.

Anyway Paul Mayan called and he actually gave me the payment address for money orders. I have seen it before and it's confirmed.

Cashtoday Ltd.
1005 Terminal Way Suite 110
Reno NV.89502

they said once payment(s) are mailed fax this number 1-800-690-9926 with a copy of the money order.

Maybe I'll be able to widdle this down after all. Just CashTransferCenters, MyCashNow, UnitedCashLoans and USFASTCASH to go.

Be very careful with cash2day4u. They are one of the most famous scammers around. There are many others but this one and a company called Sonic Payday tops in the list. You know, both of these companies are working from outside the US and stealing people's money. They claim not to be bound by any federal and state laws. This helps them to take away people's money because they cannot be tracked anywhere. You should feel happy about not having to deal with Sonic Payday.

There are a few more threads on Cash Today limited. Read others' posts so that you know everything about Cash Today and their shady practices.

Be very sure to get the 'paid in full' letter from UnitedCashLoans. You never know when they will hire someone or transfer your file to another company for carrying out collections in a fraudulent way. If you have something in writing, you can prove about the loan already paid off.

Cash Transfers does charge interest. They are actually the only internet pdl that operated within the state of OH guidelines believe it or not. Stated they do not roll over loans for those who live in OH. I've read alot of bad things about them, which I'm sure are true. But they do charge interest rates it says it rightin their contract. You are right they are just trying to use a legal loophole.

I doubt they are licensed in OH, I just know that when I took out my pdl with them and asked about extensions (started learning my lesson, but had to do something for money because I had no paycheck left) The man from Cash Transfers said that I had to pay back the loan in full by my next paycheck because they don't renew loans in OH, and that's what they did, took the full amount plus the interest and fees next payday without me contacting them. Funny, I got an e-mail today from them reminding me that since my loan has been repaid why haven't I gotten another one. I NOW QUALIFY FOR $500 ADVANCE! LUCKY ME. (I think not)

I'm still working on dealing with my pdls, I refuse to take another one. But I am no longer going to let it ruin my days with worrying I'm following the advice I've gotten from this forum from those with experience. I feel much better. From what I've read is Sonic a part of Cash Transfer? So many of these are related I am beginning to think that all these pdls are actually just one big company

CTC is evil...Most all PDLs are evil.

They say they charge a fee and not interest? It doesn't matter if their fee is larger than the amount of interest that is legal in your state...It's all money and it still adds up to interest no matter how you look at it.

Good luck! And welcome to the site. Keep us updated on your progress!

The ag's office will respond and then forward your complaint to the Dept.of Commerce Division of Financial Institutions. I had one mark me paid in full after the Ags office contacted them, I'm still waiting for the others' response. I had already paid them $630 on a $300 pdl. More than the law allows, they got paid and then some. I don't know how much you've paid so far. I know I am going to fight because of how much I've paid.

No, they are not licensed in the State of Ohio. They are somehow related to Sonic Payday who I went through hell and back with in early winter. They never mentioned anything about Ohio laws so maybe they are stating to pay attention. They violated so many state and federal laws in my case that it wasn't funny. I fought back and stated I was going to sue them since they disclosed this information to my employer. Sonic Payday never allowed extensions or roll overs but I just thought it was how they operated. They can be crafty so be careful when dealing with them. Keep EVERYTHING documented. I have two file folders that are filled with Sonic stuff alone.

I still have an outstanding loan with cash transfer centers. I've told them that i don't have enough money to paid the loan in full but they still took the money out from my checking account, and now my bank is NSF. Is there anyway that i can stop them from doing that in the future? I've asked my bank to make a stop payment on a check since that's the only option they have, but one of the community member here told me that i have to request the bank to complete blocking them or unauthorized them. My account is NSF now, i can't even closed not unless i have to made a deposit to cover the NSF amount. Please help. Thanks guys.

My credit union let me stop the ach's (it cost though, but well worth it). It was basically like putting a stop payment on a check, it's good for 6 months then I'll have to renew. But I did end up closing the account because the bank was afraid they may try to ach under a dba and without knowing them all one may go through. So I kept my savings and I'll be reopening a new checking, different number with my credit union when I feel it's safe, I'm going to wait another month to do that.

Opening a new checking out might be a good idea. I opened a new account after finally closing my previous account (which I had had for 20+ years). I had to close it because the internet PDLs with their sneaky ways of taking my money out. I went to a few new banks and was turned down at each one of them because of all the NSFs I had. I finally went to US Bank and told them up front that I had a lot of previous NSFs from my old account and explained what had happened. He said that was no problem because at US Bank, they believed in giving everyone a second chance. So it might be something to consider.

Alright here is an update:

Cash Transfer Centers - I just decided to pay off these guys. They say two week extension only however when I said I didn't care about it going to collections they said it costs more money for them to go to collections. I said lets work this out. They never stopped harrasing me even after the letter below.

CashTodayLtd - I had a guy call me an make me promise to send hime a payment to Colorado and that I must fax him as soon as this happens. I gave the address to the consolidation company and have not heard from any Cash2Day4U people in over three weeks!!!!

MyCashNow. Oh the horror. The consolidation company sent a proposal however the my 600 dollar loan is now up to 1400 on their website. However they don't call me anymore either.

USFastCash - Weird I got an email from their compliance department saying you paid 0 on your balance (not counting the previous thousands I have given them) and said to contact collections to work out a payment. Everytime I called collections they put me on hold and hung up on me. Never here from them,

United Cash Loans. Never heard from these guys no collection notices for any of these companies.

WorldWideCashNow - I got a happy message saying this loan was written off as I had paid them hundreds already. The rep also mentioned that if I hadn't closed my bank account they never would have stopped even if I called and called. It's an automated system no rep can stop.

SO through my consolidation I am paying only MyCashNow and CashTodayLtd. I can't even contact USFastCash and I don't care!!!

Lot of information here but it's working out and I enough money to go to have a beer or two when I want now :)

Here is a copy of the letter I wrote and faxed to these creeps. Please use it for ideas but I have a feeling I may not be completely out of the woods yet don't use it word for word. It was very effective against all but Cash Transfer Centers and CashToday Ltd as they continued to call everyone I knew and worked with until the consolidation comapny sent the money to Colorado for CashTodayLtd. And I just paid off CashTransferCenters myself. TORTURE is now over.

Again this is the letter:

Quote:

To Whom It May Concern/Manager:

I have stopped payment on your auto withdrawal furthermore I am closing the bank account after Friday. I have taken out too many loans and am faced with needing a payment program.

Under Massachusetts law you were issued to ???????cease and desist??????? order for operating in the State of Massachusetts. I have confirmed this with the Massachusetts Division of Banks.

I have written a formal complaint to the Massachusetts Division of Banks for charging multi-figure interest rates which is illegal in Massachusetts.

If you do not comply I will contact the Attorney General????????s Office Massachusetts.

If you wish to receive payments at all on the principle figure you will work with the following consolidation company: My reference number is XXXXX.

Auriton Solutions
Attn: XXXXXXX
1700 West Highway 36 Suite 301
Roseville, MN 55113

I revoke the following under the Fair Credit Act and under the laws of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

I revoke your right to garnish my wages.
I revoke your right to debit my bank account any further fees or interest.
I revoke your right to call my employer, my references (co-workers)
I revoke your right to call any phone number besides the following xxxxxxxxx other than that you should speak directly with Auriton Solutions.
